Las Vegas Jewish Experience

The Las Vegas Jewish Experience (LVJE) is an Orthodox outreach organization founded in 2010 (incorporated independently in 2012) that gives Las Vegas and Reno college students and young professionals opportunities to explore Judaism and reconnect with their heritage. Led by Rabbi Avi Cutler and a team of educators including Rabbi Eviatar Israeli, Yehudit Elkouby, Dr. Leah Israeli, and Rachel Cutler, LVJE offers Torah classes on a wide range of Jewish topics, one-on-one learning sessions, Shabbat meals and Shabbatons, and weekly social programming such as Taco Tuesday, Maimonides Thursdays, and Steak and Sugyas.

Each year, more than 250 college students and young professionals participate in LVJE’s classes and programs, and dozens travel on immersive Jewish trips to destinations including Israel, Spain, England, Brazil, New York, Los Angeles, Utah, and Arizona. The organization operates out of Henderson, Nevada, and partners with the local Kollel and broader Jewish communal organizations such as Jewish Nevada to strengthen Jewish identity among young adults across the Las Vegas Valley.
