NextGen OC is the young adult engagement initiative of the Jewish Federation of Orange County (JFedOC), built to create a welcoming and inclusive home for Jewish young adults ages 21-45 across Orange County. Whether someone is a newcomer to the region, a lifelong local, single or married, a student or working professional, observant or unaffiliated, NextGen OC welcomes them into its community.
The program offers a broad range of social, educational, leadership, and philanthropic opportunities designed to help young adults build meaningful connections while investing in the future of the local and global Jewish community. Programming has included low-barrier monthly social mixers, Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, volunteer and service projects, and collaborations with other young Jewish organizations such as Moishe House.
Beyond social connection, NextGen OC also emphasizes leadership development and philanthropy, including speaker series like NextGen Talks that connect emerging Jewish professionals with established community leaders, as well as pathways into lay leadership and giving within the Federation system.
