StandWithUs

StandWithUs (SWU) is an international and non-partisan Israel education organization founded in 2001 in Los Angeles that inspires and educates people of all ages and backgrounds, challenges misinformation, and fights antisemitism. The organization empowers and energizes students and communities through leadership training and educational programs at hundreds of universities, high schools, and middle schools around the world.

StandWithUs educates the public via social media, print and digital resources, films, weekly newsletters, and missions to Israel, and takes legal action through its StandWithUs Saidoff Law department. It runs flagship programs such as the Emerson Fellowship and First-Year Leadership Internship for college students, the IsraelLINK middle school curriculum, a Holocaust Education Center, and a K-12 Fairness Center, empowering hundreds of student leaders annually.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, StandWithUs operates programs on six continents, with chapters and offices across the United States and in Israel, the UK, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands, Australia, and South Africa. Its funding comes from private individuals, foundations, and organizational partners, and it does not accept funding from any foreign government. Its mission statement, ‘Education Is the Road to Peace,’ reflects its focus on fostering reasonable, informed discussions about Israel’s history, policies, and humanitarian work.
