The Epstein School

Founded in 1973 by Rabbi Harry H. Epstein and leaders of Ahavath Achim Synagogue, The Epstein School is an independent, Conservative-affiliated Jewish day school located in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The school serves students from 18 months through 8th grade, combining rigorous academics with Jewish learning, values, and identity-building in a nurturing, bilingual (English-Hebrew) environment.

Epstein’s mission is rooted in Jewish values and wisdom, engaging students’ hearts and minds and empowering them with the knowledge and skills to reach their highest potential. Graduates go on to top high schools in Atlanta and beyond, equipped with confidence, curiosity, and compassion, along with a strong foundation in Jewish identity and leadership.

The school partners closely with local synagogues, camps, agencies, and cultural organizations to build Jewish identity and community among its students and families. Its mascot is the Eagle, and it also operates a summer camp program (Eagle Express) for its community.
