The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center

The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center (Osher Marin JCC) is a nonprofit community organization located in San Rafael, California, serving Marin County and the greater Bay Area. Founded in 1946 when a small group of local Jewish residents gathered together, the organization has grown over more than 75 years into a full-service community hub offering fitness and aquatics facilities, preschool education, summer camps, adult and senior programming, and cultural and arts events.

The mission of the Osher Marin JCC is to celebrate, strengthen, and sustain Jewish life and culture, to build cross-cultural understanding, and to enrich the lives of those in the broader community. The JCC serves as a gateway for people of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds to participate in Jewish cultural, educational, and social life, while also operating award-winning fitness, pool, and wellness facilities open to the general public.

Through its Center for Jewish Peoplehood (Taube Center), the JCC offers Jewish learning opportunities including classes, speakers, workshops, and exhibits, alongside a robust calendar of concerts, performances, and community celebrations. The organization also plays host to numerous community and cultural events, positioning it as both a Jewish communal anchor and a broader recreational and cultural venue for the Marin community.
