- Settled in, it’s time to get to know your group over welcome drinks and a traditional Italian dinner on the Sorrentine Peninsula, looking ahead to the adventures ahead
- Spend some free time this morning in the famous pastel-hued village of Positano before travelling onwards to Scala for your three-hour walk along the lesser-known Path of Forster trail – expecting spectacular cliff-side views of the Tyrrhenian Sea*
- Walk conquered, a well-deserved Aperol and Sorrento’s picturesque streets beckon once more

- The pinnacle of Italian glamour? Today’s full-day sailing adventure to the stunning isle of Capri
- Aboard a traditional boat (weather-dependent – see FAQs), you’ll stop at secret lagoons, pass quaint fishing villages and Roman ruins and swim or snorkel in impossibly clear seas
- After a free afternoon spent soaking up Capri’s luxurious atmosphere, it’s time to sail back to the mainland feeling like a true MVP
- Onwards to Puglia in Italy’s southern ‘heel’, but not before stopping at the spell-binding UNESCO city of Matera for a private tour.
- Led by an expert guide, immerse yourself in the wondrous history of the ‘Rock City’, discovering ancient Bronze Age cave dwellings and a stunning labyrinth of narrow streets
- After a stroll through the Old Town, you’ll rest and rejuvenate at a unique cave spa, an atmospheric world of subterranean pools, saunas and steam baths
- Today you’ll be taken to Locorotondo and Ostuni, two of Italy’s most beautiful (no, really) towns. Wander past flower-adorned buildings and down the quaint streets of their beautifully preserved old towns
- Stop at a charming, organic olive oil farm, where you’ll get to enjoy a tasting surrounded by olive groves and ancient whitewashed buildings
- Now it’s time for your immersive cooking class in ancient Alberobello, where you’ll prepare ancient Puglian specialities like Orecchiette pasta and Focaccia (followed by a two-course feast, naturally)
- Take some time this morning to fully explore your UNESCO base of Alberobello, known worldwide for its prehistoric, and somewhat otherworldly, conical trulli homes
- Now for your private walking tour of Polignano a Mare, a stunning cliffside town with an Arab, Byzantine, Spanish and Norman history. Afterwards, spend some free time swimming in the azure waters or browsing the endless boutique shops
- It’s time for your farewell dinner. A chance to toast to the vibrant adventures you’ve shared, and the Italian secrets you’ve been lucky enough to uncover.
- Say goodbye to your group and make your way to Bari Airport for your onward flight home; your Pack Leader will be on hand to help you arrange a local taxi
