Hebrew Public Charter Schools

Hebrew Public is a national nonprofit organization established in 2009 that leads a movement of exceptional, diverse public charter schools teaching Modern Hebrew to children of all backgrounds. It operates as a charter management organization for schools in New York City (Hebrew Language Academy and Hebrew Language Academy 2 in Brooklyn, Staten Island Hebrew Public) and Philadelphia, and maintains affiliate agreements with additional Hebrew-language charter schools across the country, including in New Jersey, Washington DC, Minneapolis, San Diego, and Los Angeles.

Across its network of pre-kindergarten through 8th grade campuses, Hebrew Public schools combine a rigorous academic curriculum with instruction in Modern Hebrew and Israel studies, aiming to prepare students to become successful global citizens. The organization provides curriculum, operational support, and shared educational resources to help its network and affiliate schools deliver a high caliber of public education.

Hebrew Public is headquartered in New York City and continues to grow its network of schools, supporting new campuses across multiple states while emphasizing diversity, rigorous academics, and cross-cultural competency for students from all backgrounds.
