Special Guest: Oz Ocampo, 21, is an MDA volunteer EMT who began volunteering at 15, following his parents’ example. On October 7, shortly after enlisting in the IDF, he defended Gaza-border kibbutzim before deploying to Gaza as a combat soldier. In March 2024, an explosive device detonated while his unit was clearing a booby-trapped house in Khan Yunis, leaving him severely injured and intubated for two-and-a-half weeks at Soroka Medical Center. Oz made a remarkable recovery, and after lengthy rehab, achieved his dream of returning to EMT volunteering in summer 2025. Now healing and still facing challenges, he hopes to inspire others.
