You’ve deleted the apps. Re-downloaded them. Deleted them again. Sent screenshots to the group chat. Asked your friends if you’re being “too picky.” Maybe it’s time to leave the house.
Lox Club, the members club for Jew-ish people with ridiculously high standards, is coming to 92NY for a night of live matchmaking, questionable dealbreakers, meeting actual single people IRL, and some magic (the founder moonlights as a magician).
Lox Club founder and CEO Austin Kevitch, matchmaker and dating coach Harmonie Krieger (Netflix’s Jewish Matchmaking), and comedian Dylan Kevitch get into why finding someone you like has become so hard, what matchmakers notice that the rest of us don’t, and whether having ridiculously high standards is actually the problem. Tough love included.
Then things get spicier. Harmonie takes on your dating dilemmas, then matches singles from the audience live, on stage. Yes, you could be one of them. Opt in when you get your ticket.
After that, everyone heads to the Weill Art Gallery for drinks, flirting, and potentially making your group chat significantly more interesting.
It’s October. Cuffing season is approaching. Do with that info what you will.
