NDJS Spertus Sukkot Service
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Every Sukkot, we leave the comfort of our homes to eat, gather, and sleep in a sukkah. For thousands of Chicagoans experiencing homelessness, that fragility is something they experience every day. Join fellow Spertus staff on Thursday, October 1st to assemble hygiene kits with Chi-Care, which supports neighbors living on the street and in shelters across Chicago. As we pack, we’ll explore what Sukkot teaches us about housing, vulnerability, and our responsibility to one another.
