Sweater weather is here, and that means it’s time for a special Autumn Edition of L’Annexe’s monthly Pride Social! Come celebrate the season by making a fall-themed art project with colourful leaves, enjoying cozy refreshments, and connecting with others in a welcoming space. Expect creativity, conversation, and plenty of pumpkin spice!
L’Annexe’s monthly Pride Social, made possible by support from the Pride and Remembrance Foundation, is aimed at giving LGBTQ+ young adults, questioning individuals, and allies (aged 35 and under) a different type of space to come together. There’s no alcohol or drugs here, no focus on dating, and no pressure – just a welcoming group of people being their true selves and hoping to have fun and make friends along the way.
If you have food allergies or needs, please let us know by emailing social@lannexe.ca at least 1 day prior to the group.
If this is your first time coming to L’Annexe:
– L’Annexe events, activities, and services are open to young adults of any background / identity who are aged from 16 to 35 years old.
– Please note that L’Annexe is located inside the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA. When arriving at the building, visitors must ring a doorbell and state the reason for their visit to be let in. You can simply say “I’m here to go to L’Annexe.” Upon entering the building, there is a welcome desk with a security agent who reserves the right to check visitors’ bags.
– The path to L’Annexe from there is sadly NOT physically accessible to those who cannot climb a flight of stairs.
