Shirat Hayam | Two by Two at Stone Zoo
ABOUT THIS EVENT
In Parshat Noach, Noah gathers every kind of creature onto the ark and cares for them through the flood. In this event, we’re following his lead. Join Shirat Hayam’s Shir Hadash young adult community at Stone Zoo to lend a hand caring for the animals who share our world. After we serve, stay for lunch and Jewish learning together. We’ll dig into the parsha and other Jewish texts that shape our tradition’s wisdom on tza’ar ba’alei chayim, the duty to prevent the suffering of living creatures. No experience needed. Come ready to serve, learn, and connect with other young adults in the community.
