Congregation Shir Hadash is excited to relaunch its young adult programming with Back to School Bash!
It may have been a while since any of us were in school, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate back to school season with a fun and nostalgic evening! Join Shir Hadash for snacks, sips and activities, completely free and open to all young adults (20s-30s) in our community.
Come wearing your best school gear, whether it’s a college T-shirt, high school varsity jacket, or your gym shorts from 7th grade PE class. You can also dress as your favorite school archetype (cheerleader, frat bro, dork, theater kid, you name it).
We’ll start the evening with small bites and icebreakers, before creating back to school snack bags for Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley’s Eat to Learn program. These snacks go directly to families in JFS’s care, helping students stay focused, maintain energy, and participate fully in the school day.
Finally, we’ll put our knowledge to the test with an Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader trivia game!
Once the event wraps up, anyone who wants to can join us for a no-host, informal dinner at Loma Brewing Company in downtown Los Gatos (130 N Santa Cruz Ave). If you plan on joining us for dinner, please indicate so in your RSVP.
Bring a friend, have a great time, and meet new people! If you have any questions, please reach out to cayla@shirhadash.org.
