About JCC of San Francisco
Founded in 1877, the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) is the oldest Jewish community center on the West Coast. Urban and inclusive, the JCCSF celebrates San Francisco and its people, exploring Jewish culture and traditions as a pathway to joyful, meaningful living. The center welcomes people of all backgrounds and ages, using the power of gathering together to share, inspire, support, and restore.
The JCCSF operates a large multipurpose community building at 3200 California Street, home to a full-service fitness center with an indoor pool, preschools, arts and education classes, camps, and Jewish life and holiday programming. It hosts thousands of programs and experiences each year, serving community members starting from their youngest years through adulthood and beyond.
With a mission of enriching life, building Jewish identity, and fostering meaningful bonds within the community, the JCCSF also facilitates connections with Israel and Jews worldwide. Its offerings span fitness and wellness, early childhood education, arts and culture, and social and educational programming for children, teens, adults, and families.
