About Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh (JCCPGH) is a member of the Jewish Community Center Association of North America and one of the largest social service, recreational, and educational organizations in the Greater Pittsburgh region. For more than 128 years, the JCC has enriched the community by creating an environment rooted in Jewish values that strengthens the physical, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of people of all ages and backgrounds.

The JCC’s mission is to nurture people and connect community each day, through every age, inspired by Jewish values. Programs span fitness and aquatics, early childhood education, day and overnight camps, youth and teen activities, cultural and arts programming, adult enrichment, and senior services. The JCC is also home to the Center for Loving Kindness, which works to strengthen the fabric of community by amplifying the value of ‘Love Your Neighbor as Yourself.’

The JCC operates two facilities serving the Greater Pittsburgh area — its main campus in Squirrel Hill at 5738 Forbes Avenue and a South Hills location at 345 Kane Boulevard — and welcomes individuals of all backgrounds regardless of age, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or ability.
