Jewish Community Center of Youngstown

The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown is a comprehensive community center serving the Mahoning Valley region of Ohio. Its mission is to create and maintain a standard of excellence in the areas of social, cultural, educational, and recreational programs for members of all ages in a Jewish environment. Membership is open to everyone in the community, regardless of background.

The JCC operates two campuses. The Main Campus on Gypsy Lane houses a state-of-the-art fitness center, a 25-yard indoor heated pool, a gymnasium, racquetball courts, group exercise studios, and event spaces. The Logan Campus offers a beautiful outdoor pool, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, a pavilion, and seasonal event spaces from Memorial Day through the end of summer.

Programming spans aquatics, arts & ideas, day camps, early childhood education, fitness and wellness, and dedicated services for seniors and adults. The JCC offers more than 40 group exercise classes a week included with membership, and provides membership scholarships to families and individuals in need.

As part of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation network, the JCC works closely with other Federation agencies such as Jewish Family & Community Services and the JMeals program — which prepares freshly cooked, frozen meals at the JCC for delivery to seniors throughout Trumbull County — to deliver support services across the community.
