About Jewish Federation of Cincinnati

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati (JFC) is at the heart of the Cincinnati Jewish community. It connects partner agencies with the people, resources, and ideas they need to thrive, linking individuals to each other and to the larger community in Cincinnati, Israel, and around the world.

The Federation brings people and partners together to meet urgent needs, strengthen the community’s sense of belonging, and build toward a future where Jewish life thrives. Through fundraising, planning, grantmaking, and community-building, JFC serves as the backbone organization catalyzing the Greater Cincinnati Jewish community in a common purpose.

A key arm of the Federation is the Young Adult Division (YAD), which represents the next generation of Jewish leadership and hosts programs, networking events, and leadership development opportunities for young Jewish adults in Cincinnati. The Federation also operates the National Young Leadership Cabinet pipeline locally and partners closely with the Mayerson JCC and other community institutions.

The Federation’s public affairs arm, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), advocates on issues affecting the Jewish community, while its philanthropic work supports Jewish education, social services, Israel engagement, and global Jewish needs.
