About JewishColumbus

JewishColumbus is the Jewish Federation and Foundation of Columbus, Ohio, formed in 2018 as a partnership of the Columbus Jewish Foundation and the Jewish Federation of Columbus. As the largest funder of Jewish programs in the region, it serves and enriches the community from birth to senior living, working to engage, include, and secure every individual in Central Ohio’s Jewish life.

The organization funds and coordinates a wide range of initiatives, including security for preschools, day schools, religious schools, and synagogues; overnight Jewish camp scholarships; PJ Library book deliveries for young children; and support for Jews in need across the globe, from Ukraine to Israel and South America. It also houses the Jewish Community Relations Council and runs the Holocaust Survivors Initiative.

JewishColumbus places strong emphasis on cultivating the next generation of Jewish leadership through Young JewishColumbus (YJC), which engages young adults and young families, and Leadership JewishColumbus (LJC), a leadership training cohort. The organization also connects Columbus to Israel and Jewish communities worldwide through missions, global partnerships, and philanthropic advising, including legacy and endowment planning.
