About Other Way Round
Other Way Round (OWR) is a London-based group travel company that designs and runs adventure trips exclusively for solo travelers in their 30s and 40s. Founded by Steve Dillon, the company was born from his own desire to travel with like-minded peers at a similar life stage, after finding that mainstream group tours either skewed much younger or much older.
OWR specializes in small-group itineraries to destinations including Colombia, Peru, and other locations across Latin America and beyond. Trips are built around carefully chosen 4-star hotels, great food, private experiences, and immersive itineraries designed to help travelers genuinely connect with each destination — and with each other.
The company’s audience is solo travelers in their 30s and 40s who are ready for their next adventure but whose friends aren’t available to join. Many guests go on to form lasting friendships through OWR trips, and the brand emphasizes a shared life stage and travel style rather than a typical tour-bus experience.
