Olá! Welcome to Porto, a city sandwiched between The Douro River and Atlantic Ocean, know for its lavish Baroque churches, imposing bridges and iconic riverside views. Our trip kicks off with a welcome chat at 6pm and then we dive straight into Porto's renowned foodie scene with a "Progressive Dinner Tour" – i.e. enjoying the best dishes, at different restaurants, while making our way around the city. And of course, no trip to Porto is complete without a port wine —so raise a glass to the start of a memorable European journey!

We're off to the breathtaking Douro Valley—a postcard come to life and heart of Portugal's winemaking tradition. Sip on exquisite port and local wines while learning their storied history. Ever wondered what pairs perfectly with Portuguese vino? A rustic picnic lunch of regional dishes, served alfresco with vineyard views! After a day of indulging and unwinding, we'll then head back to Porto, with the evening yours to explore. Wander the colorful Ribeira, seek out the gorgeous Azulejo (tiled) buildings, or simply find a taberna & soak up the city's vibrant buzz—your Porto adventure continues!

Hop aboard a scenic train ride to Lisbon (3hrs), where pastel-colored streets and the majestic São Jorge Castle await. Upon arrival, we'll grab a quick lunch, check-in to the hotel, and then climb aboard a tuk-tuk (yes, you read that right)! for a breezy tour of Lisbon's must-see sights – the Lisbon Cathedral, Miradouro Sao Pedro & Barrio Alto to name but a few. In a city well spread out & with lots of narrow, steep streets, it's the perfect way to get around and take it in. As the sun sets over Lisbon, we'll take you to our favorite spot to toast our first day in Portugal's lively capital city.

Today is all about discovering Lisbon at your own pace. Why not head out this morning to pay a visit to the medieval citadel of Sao Jorge Castle? Feeling the call of the sea? Hop on a boat ride along the Tagus for incredible city views. Prefer wandering? The city's vibrant neighborhoods, like Alfama and Bairro Alto, are packed with charm, history, and hidden dive bars. If you head out to Belem, don't forget to try a custard tart at the famous Casa Pasteis de Belem. Whatever your interest, your guide has plenty of suggestions to help you make the most of your day. It's your Lisbon adventure—go where curiosity leads you!

Today we take a short trip to Sintra, a fairytale-like town straight out of a storybook. We'll visit the stunning Pena Palace, perched high upon a hill with views as magical as its colorful architecture. Wander through its opulent rooms and lush gardens, soaking up the royal vibes. You'll have some time over lunch to explore the pretty little town itself and then on the way back we'll stop in Cascais, a once quiet fishing village now turned glamorous holiday spot. Tonight – a live Fado performance which is sure to leave you spellbound.

We're off to the stunning Algarve region today, with an easy 3hr drive south to Lagos, a beautiful coastal spot complete with a walled old town, rugged cliff formations and dreamy Atlantic beaches. You'll struggle to find a better beach town in all of Europe! After arriving at our lovely hotel, today is left for you to enjoy with ease. You could chill by the hotel pool, hit up the exquisite nearby beach, take in the views from the clifftops, or wander into the charming old town, with its ancient 16th-century walls and colorful plazas. In fact, why not do it all?!

This morning we're heading out on the ocean on our private catamaran. We'll navigate the rocky Algarve coastline and take in the dramatic cliffs of Ponta da Piedade, with its arches, towers, and hidden caves while also enjoying lunch onboard. Afterwards, there's one final afternoon to enjoy Lagos. Head to Meia Praia for a swim and lay on the soft sands. Or, for something quieter, Praia do Porto de Mos or Camilo Beach offer serene vibes with stunning rock formations. As the day winds down, we'll gather for a farewell dinner, celebrating new friendships made and experiences shared.

All good things must come to an end, and today, our amazing time in Portugal wraps up. There are no activities planned, so you have the morning to relax, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take one final stroll along the beach before it's time to say goodbye. At the agreed time, you'll be transferred to Faro Airport (FAO) for your onward journey, filled with memories of trendy Portuguese cities, dream-like castles, secluded coastal bays and a group of new besties!
