About San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living

San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a nonprofit senior services organization located on a nine-acre campus in San Francisco’s Excelsior neighborhood, providing a continuum of comprehensive care to support older adults in aging well. Its history traces back to 1871, when it was founded as the Jewish Home of San Francisco, and it has since grown into one of Northern California’s leading providers of senior care.

SFCJL offers a full spectrum of services including skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, acute geriatric psychiatry, and is expanding into assisted living and memory care through its Frank Residences community. The organization has been rated five-star for Quality of Care by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Grounded in Jewish values of community, compassion, and excellence, SFCJL serves residents of all backgrounds while maintaining its Jewish heritage and identity, including a charitable care policy that provides financial assistance to older adults who have depleted their resources.
