Welcome to Prague! Meet your Trip Leader at Václav Havel Prague International Airport at 3:00 pm. and take included transportation to your hotel in the heart of the capital of the Czech Republic.
Find yourself in the social and cultural capital of Central Europe, Prague, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Get ready to immerse in its deep-rooted history, breathtaking architecture, and friendly atmosphere.
Join your Trip Leader and your new friends for an included dinner and begin to settle into Prague.
Visit Prague Castle–the largest castle in the world–for an included visit. Explore the neighborhood of St. Vitus Cathedral and the colorful Golden Lane.
Enjoy some free time visiting museums, wandering through the Jewish Quarter, or strolling over the historic Charles Bridge. Join a local brewpub tour with your Trip Leader and learn why the Czech Republic is a well-known haven for beer drinkers. You'll visit two special brewpubs in the Old Town and taste traditional Czech beer snacks and cuisine at each pub.
This morning, board a train bound for Vienna, Austria's capital.
Spend the afternoon walking around this charming city with your Trip Leader as you become familiar with your surroundings.
Visit the famous Naschmarkt, a cultural meeting point for local Viennese. Indulge in some of the best food and wine that Austria has to offer. If you are on a December trip, you will visit the iconic Christmas Markets instead of Naschmarkt.
Enjoy a guided walking tour of the city with a local guide. Your guide will take you from the Gothic splendor of St. Stephen's Cathedral to the neoclassical grandeur of Graben Street and then on to Hofburg Palace, where Habsburg emperors once resided.
Take an audio-guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace as you explore the lavish state rooms at your own pace while uncovering the fascinating history of the Habsburg dynasty through engaging commentary.
Spend the afternoon exploring this splendid city and its numerous museums, palaces, and parks.
Gather back with your friends and Trip Leader for an included group dinner of Austrian cuisine. Afterwards, your Trip Leader will take you to explore Vienna's nightlife.
Today, you'll have time to explore Vienna as you please with various optional activities.
Enjoy some free time visiting museums, wandering through the trendy district of Neubau, going for a stroll along the Danube Canal, or visiting Schönbrunn Palace.
Vienna is well known as the capital of classical music and this evening your Trip Leader will bring you to experience a classical music concert.
Today, say hello to our third and final destination: Budapest, the Pearl of the Danube.
Walk around the city with your Trip Leader to become familiar with Hungary's capital.
In the evening, head out and visit the famous ruin bars of Budapest. Board a local river cruise at sunset and admire the city from the water.
Today you will have time to explore the complex of Buda Castle, a historic palace built in the 13th century on Castle Hill. Walk around courtyards, visit the Hungarian National Gallery, experience Matthias Church, and take in the views from Fisherman's Bastian.
In the afternoon, continue exploring the city. Spend time relaxing at the famous thermal baths or take a bike tour. For history buffs, pay homage to the statues of important Hungarian historical figures at Heroes's Square.
Tonight, we'll enjoy our final dinner together as a group and reflect on the fantastic adventure we've had across Central Europe.
Say goodbye to Budapest and your new friends. You can depart at any time of the day with instructions from your Trip Leader on how to take taxis, buses, or trams to the airport.
