About Under30Experiences
Under30Experiences (U30X) is a for-profit small-group travel company founded in 2012 that designs curated international trips for young adults ages 21 to 35. The company was born after co-founder Matt Wilson had a life-changing moment watching a sunset over a glacier on a volcano in Iceland, which inspired him to build trips that pay that feeling of connection and adventure forward.
U30X runs itineraries in 30+ countries designed primarily for solo travelers. The company intentionally curates group size, trains trip leaders to foster group dynamics, and builds shared experiences without forcing them, with the goal of helping strangers arrive nervous and leave with real friendships (about half of travelers rebook for future trips).
