Comedy For Peace comes to the Elaine Wolf Theatre for one special evening, bringing laughter and fun to our greater community. The event is presented by Moving to Our Center and the Mizel Arts and Culture Center, in partnership with Rodef Shalom, Temple Emanuel, Congregation Temple Sinai, the Anti-Defamation League, Judaism Your Way, Denver Jewish Day School, and Together Colorado.
The show brings together internationally celebrated comedians from diverse religious, cultural, and social backgrounds who have appeared on NBC, The Daily Show, Comedy Central, HBO, and more. The show’s message is simple and timely: No politics. Only laughs.
Founder Dotan Malach, an Israeli-Jewish-American comedian and producer who performs as Erik Angel, explains that “the goal is to show that we can work together to have fun,” adding that after an hour of laughter, audiences often recognize “that we’re all much more alike than different.” Angel will be sharing the stage with fellow comedians Leah Bonnema and Tehran Von Ghasri.
Tickets are now available, with reserved seating offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6:30 for a 7 p.m. show. Following the performance, the comedians will take part in a brief audience Q&A, extending the evening’s spirit of laughter, dialogue, and connection.
